If the beginning is the most important thing for every story, then the origin is the most important thing for every wine story. The vineyards of the Aleksić winery are a very important project for both the winery and the south of our country. Walking through the land of our ancestors, we are creating a new history of winemaking.

Raising a vineyard is a big step in expanding the business and the next big step in the story of quality. The unique method of planting, as well as the installation of a drop by drop irrigation systems, creates the highest quality of grapes. Unique for its location and natural characteristics, the Vranje vineyards and the Vrtogoski wine-growing region are well recognized by winemakers. A number of conditions for vine growing contribute to the uniqueness in creating premium products.

Our terroir is a land on which vines have been continuously grown for seventy years. The land is composed mostly of smonica. It is the specific microclimate that determines the style and character of the wines. With as many as 270 sunny days a year, fresh nights and a small amount of precipitation, as well as the influence of a moderate continental climate, ideal conditions are created for the ripening of grapes.

The plot spans over 70ha, 60ha of which is currently under plantations. Precisely on that endless land, the mission of the Aleksić winery is expanding.
